Focusing on class & gender equality, anti-poverty and social inclusion, we collectively challenge cultural, political and economic inequalities.

New programme for women funded by the Department of Justice & Equality announced

In 2014 the Women's Centre along with the other 16 NCCWN women's community development projects throughout the country began a yearlong campaign to have the funding for women's projects ring fenced.

We are celebrating our 20th anniversary this year. As part of the birthday celebrations and ifor Women's Day, the Centre has a weeklong programme of events planned.  

'Flowers for Magdalene

 The annual 'Flowers for Magdalene' event will take place in Waterford on Saturday 28th February at 11 am at St Mary's Church Ballygunner Cemetery, Waterford. All welcome to honour Magdalene women throughout Ireland.
